About the Author

Dr. MeeCee Baker is currently a partner in a lobbying firm that focuses on agricultural issues and is also an adjunct professor at North Carolina State University. Dr. Baker spent over twenty years teaching before she accepted an appointment to serve in the Executive Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture. Dr. Baker was the first female to be elected president of the National Agricultural Teachers' Association and is the co-author of two books used in classrooms across the country.
